Story: This
scene is only a few miles above Lake Sabrina near Bishop. In 1994, I
intended to photograph the falls but the water level was far too low.
Over time the idea developed to juxtapose the waterfall and the distant
summit of Picture Peak duing the first moments of dawn on a clear
morning. Finally in early July of 2003, I found the water flow
strong enough to capture this moment.
