Story: Mt. Morrison is just south of Mammoth Lakes, California and above Convict Creek. I spent part of two different seasons here making this image work. This is a tough situation since these flowers bloom in early June, just when the days are the longest of the year. I've had to get up at 4:45 each time that I have made an attempt at this image.
