Story: This is yet another of a long series of attempts (for me) in famous locations. When a particular scene has been photographed many times, one needs better and better conditions to realize a successful photograph. I thought that the light just wasn't happening in this case, but later when I saw the film, I loved the subtle magentas high on El Capitan and on the Cathedral Rocks. I know I'll be back though, there are many possibilities at the Valley View at the west end of Yosemite.
