Number: 07-15 Story: This
is the front of Mission San Diego. I had tried several times to
photograph here at this mission, but it seemed that nothing ever worked
correctly! In the winter of 2007, we made a family trip to "Magic
Mountain" just to ride the new "Tatsu" roller coaster. Then we
continued on southward to the San Diego Zoo. I had suspected that low
winter light would make this shot possible. Later in the year these
foreground flowers are always in the morning shade. Here in early
January they have caught the morning sun, while the mission is still in
the shade..
