Story: We drove by this charming residence on the way to Cortina D'Ampezzo in northern Italy. I checked many other houses and back streets during our visit but this particular home was the most kept up cottage and made the best photograph. An older couple lived here. They spoke no English, and my Spanish worked almost a poorly as their English. They were quite proud of their home and I think that they understood how much I loved it also. I made three trips back to this location. On this day the kitty obligingly stopped just in front of the entrance! The shooting session barely worked; there was a major rainstorm and wind in the morning.
