Story: We drove by this charming residence on the way to Cortina D'Ampezzo in northern Italy. I checked many other houses and back streets during our visit but this particular home was the most cared for cottage and made the best photograph. An older couple lived here. They spoke no English, and my Spanish worked almost a poorly as their English. They were quite proud of their home and I think that they understood how much I loved it also. I took their address and have sent them a copy of this image. I had to drive back to this location three times late in our visit. Once the day was too windy and rainy, and once I was unable to locate the exact spot! No GPS tracking devices for me! This day barely worked; there was a major rainstorm and wind in the morning.
