Lake and Clyde Minaret had been on my list for a photograph for a long,
long time. The Minaret and Ediza Lakes loop is a reasonable day hike.
And Lake Ediza by itself is doable with my camera pack, but Iceberg
seems a bit too far to leave from Agnew Meadows far before dawn!
Finally in the summer of 2008, we made the time for my son Dylan and I to
climb Michael Minaret. We had two mornings here; I had done extensive
scouting over the years, and for once most of the fine points of
"making" a photograph seemed to work themselves out. I am pleased by
the result.
