StoryIceberg Lake and Clyde Minaret had been on my list for a photograph for a long, long time. The Minaret and Ediza Lakes loop is a reasonable day hike. And Lake Ediza by itself is doable with my camera pack, but Iceberg seems a bit too far to leave from Agnew Meadows far before dawn! Dylan, myself and a good friend made a climbing trip here in June 2008. I was able to make my long planned "Clyde Minaret and Iceberg Lake" photograph at the end of our visit but this scene presented itself suddenly on our first morning. I love the melting ice and the reflections of Minarets showing on the open water. I had scouted the Lake for years and did not fully appreciate the potential for this image. The Iceberg-Ediza area is a truly wonderful spot and mountain lovers.
