Number: 96-31 Story: We
arose at 1A.M. in Bishop and drove to the trailhead. This was one
occasion where everything came together. I had time to scout Lake Ediza
and we had plenty of coffee! The lake was perfectly calm, and the
sunrise was gorgeous and I made the image "Aplenglow on the Minarets"
an hour before. In later years, I went back to Lake Ediza to make this
image three more times and always failed! Finally, it seemed like a
good idea to look through the older work from 1996, and there my idea
on film! I had it completed all along and forgotten all about the shot.
