Story: Spring break in April is usually nice in Yosemite. I had an inkling that it might be a bit cold, but I chose not to divulge this possibility to the family. We set out on our family camping trip with Sabrina, our two-year old baby . I didn't expect the cold to be that severe. We endured five days of snow, including this 18" overnight snowfall. The following morning with clear skies and cold temperatures was incredible. The family remained holed up, sleeping in the tent. I ventured out, driving over to Cathedral Rocks. The storm had practically shut down the Valley. No one was around. Just 20 feet from the road, I set up for this shot. I hadn't seen the Valley this gorgeous in twenty years!
